Today we made the decision which 4WD Car rental we will choose: Travel Car Centre

We take a 4×4 Troopcarrier with roof tent. The Toyata Landcruiser is equipped with a electric wind, Bullbar (Roobar), 2 Battery sytem, 2 spare tires and tanks for 180 litres of gas (Consumption about 15l/100km (Diesel)).

This company seems to be really competent and what was quite important for us, the equipment that comes along seems to be quite complete – both camping and safety equipment. Unfortunatly Bruno from TCC had to tell us, that the Gibb River Road in the Kimberleys is mostly closed at this time of the year, and also Tanami Track is very uncertain. We are looking for alternatives…

Geländewagen für Australien mieten

As we have the basic conditions we are planning the details – it is to be the most important step to find a good equipped four by four at a proper price . We had a look at the offers of internet agencies but there was nothing exciting… Either the equipment is not complete (at least not how we imagine) or the car is like a caravan or the price for the car is too expensive, or, or…

We will continue searching and as we already have a flight to Australia, we certainly will find a four by four…
