In our ongoing planning we found a lot of useful information on www.outback-guide.de and today we ordered the necessary maps from there. There is a comprehensive and well arranged list of maps that made it easy to choose and order. We are really looking forward to the especially interesting CD version of the Great Desert maps from HEMA.We made the decision to have a look on these maps and if something is still missing, we will buy it in Australia.

What we want to try, too, is to fill the cache of Google Earth on our laptop with the maps along our route so that we have enough information offline (beside the maps…
