In etwa so:

We now sat together and already outlined a possible route, added distances and the time of travelling. The result is an ambitious journey with a lot of sightseeing, lots of Australian nature, a big amount of anticipation and a long distance to travel: about 7000 km (4349 miles)

Hopefully we will be rewarded with a fantastic vacation!

How does the first idea of a possible trip through Australia look like?

So what does our first idea of the trip look like?:
We are going to arrive in Sydney and are going to have a look-around. Then we want to go to Adelaide. Adelaide is to be the beginning of our adventure trip with the off-road vehicle.
Our first destination is going to be the Flinders Ranges National Park. Afterwards Coober Pedy and then Uluru, known as Ayers Rock.
Through to Watarrka National Park (with the King’s Canyon) and Finke Gorge the trip will be continued to Alice Springs. We decided to follow the Tanami Track to Hall’s Creek and to Derby. The next destination is through the Kimberleys to Wyndham. Afterward we are going to visit the Kakadu National Park. From this point we like to go to Darwin from where we are going to fly to Cairns to explore the Great Barrier Reef diving and snorkelling.
It is still uncertain if we will make a stop in Singapore – but I think it will be a trip on which we will make experiences.
