Given that the fifth continent is all into tourism since quite a few years now and many billions of dollars are made with the international visitors, it is not very astonishing that there is a certain type of visa (see Australien-Visum on this german site…) for nearly any reaon you might consider for coming to Australia. For example there is the popular Work & Holiday visa for young people between 18 and 30 years who want to travel and work, or the normal tourist visa that can be applied for for 3, 6, or 12 months. Australia hosts more than 6 million tourists per year and allows them to extensively explore the country.

Also education and further qualification is no problem on the 5th continent. The fact that you can immatriculte yourself at a university or can learn a job or even only attend an english course at a language school with an education visa allows you to stay in the country for as long as your project takes. On top of that it is allowed to work up to 20 hours a week to add on your budget a little bit.

Of course there are a few special visa that are tailored towards the needs of the australien business word. For example it is possible that skilled workers that are urgently needed Down Under can obtain a temporary or permanent visa in order to start a new life in Australia. For that a couple of requrement are to be met, e.g. proper job qualification that is noted on the SOL list, an according work experience, the required english skill level, diverse health obligations, a sponsorship if applicable…

If you are already enjoying your retirement and can proof enough funds, then it is possible to travel to Australia with a retirement visa and stay permanently.

Last but least there is the business visa that allows you to pursue clearly defined business activities on the fith continent. No matter whether you want to open your own business, want to invest into an australian business or want to negotiate with local businesses – if you meet the immigration authority’s conditions, all doors in the australian business world are wide open.[:]
